Accessibility
Built to be usable by every student.
This page covers The Launchpad (launchpad.thefinancelab.co) and this website. It is written for the people who have to check the box during adoption, and for the students who have to use the thing.
Our target
We design against WCAG 2.1 Level AA: readable contrast, keyboard operability with a visible focus state, text alternatives for images, and respect for the reduced-motion setting on a student's device.
Where we stand
The Launchpad is maintained by one developer who is also the teacher using it daily, and accessibility work ships in the same releases as everything else. We do not yet publish a third-party audit.
Devices
The Launchpad runs in a browser on school laptops, including Chromebooks, with no install. Students join with a class code and a first name, so there is no account setup to get through.
Conformance report
If your district requires a VPAT or accessibility conformance report as part of adoption, write to us. We will tell you plainly what is and is not done.
Report a barrier
If a student or teacher hits something that does not work with their assistive technology, email team@thefinancelab.co with the page and what happened. The developer reads those messages directly.
